Privacy Policy
We built JobCraft because we were tired of platforms that treat your data like a product. Here is exactly what we do with your information — and what we do not.
Last updated: May 11, 2026
What We Collect
We collect the information you give us — your name, email, and anything you enter into our tools (resumes, cover letters, job applications). We also collect basic technical data like your browser type and IP address to keep the site running smoothly and securely.
How We Use It
Your data is used to provide and improve our services. We use your resume content to generate tailored documents, track your application history, and power features like the ATS score checker. We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Third-Party Job Boards
JobCraft links to third-party job boards and employer career pages. When you click those links, you leave our site and their privacy policies apply. We do not control how those platforms handle your data.
Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, ad retargeting, or analytics tools that share data with advertisers.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers in Canada and the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited to the minimum number of people required to operate the service.
Your Rights
You can access, edit, or delete your account and data at any time from your Settings page. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days before automatic purge.
