Terms of Service

We wrote these in plain language. No legalese walls. Read them — they actually matter and they're short.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any JobCraft service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

JobCraft provides AI-powered tools to help Canadian job seekers write resumes, cover letters, prepare for interviews, check ATS scores, and track job applications. JobCraft is a job search tool, not a recruiter or employment agency. We do not guarantee job placement, interview callbacks, or employment outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a JobCraft account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the platform for lawful purposes. Accounts registered with false information may be suspended without notice.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@jobcraft.ca if you suspect unauthorized access. JobCraft is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use JobCraft to scrape data, attempt to reverse-engineer our AI systems, submit false or misleading information, harass other users, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law. Automated access, bots, or bulk account creation is prohibited. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

6. Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

All content generated by JobCraft's AI tools — including resumes, cover letters, and interview responses — is provided for your personal use. You own the documents you create. JobCraft retains rights to the underlying software, AI models, and platform design. You may not resell or redistribute JobCraft-generated content as a service without written permission.

8. Third-Party Links

JobCraft links to third-party job boards, employer sites, and external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. JobCraft does not endorse these sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

JobCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. Use the tools as one part of your job search strategy, not as a replacement for professional career advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost job opportunities, income loss, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless prohibited by applicable law.
